I purchased recently a MP4 player. My first problem: I found that the memory was hacked. In the set up menu, the player indicated that the memory available was 8 GB. I fixed the problem using CHKFLSH.EXe program. A correct partion of 2GB resolved this problem. As you see below the nan flas is K9GAG. AG is the code for samsung of 16 giga bit...1 bit =8 bytes so 16/8 is 2GB. But the player was set up as 8 GB. When you download files into a hackes disk flash you may encounters many problems as...Fantom directory..files becomes corrupted..etc..Specially when you are near the 2 GB...the real capacity...When you download files and the disk is full...you may damages your files...So the player stops working..For ak2025 I recommend that you partition your disk using this free software..

At this moment, every things was ok.. But after 10 days the player died.Only a black screen. Nevertheless II observed that player was detected as an USB device connected on the adfu mode USB\VID_10D6&PID_FF76 . This was, maybe, an indication that the firmware was corrupted. I verified that the battery was ok. I mesured 4.1 volts.

During a week I was seeking for the FULL firmware that match my MP4. I found the following firmwares:

This firmware is 9.5.54 QS AK2025....The menu is the same as my player.
Next steps...The MP3 upgrade tool. You need to find and MP3 that works with AK2025. That detects your ADFU mode and read the firmware.
and no have bugs installations.
I tried old versions as 4.04. Problem is that the ADFU mode is not recognised. When you use adfuupdate.inf that is provides by the windows xp (a file that you can find in the windows directory) , the adfu mode of AK2025 is not recognised. Also the firmware can not be readed correctly in the 4.40 version. Newer versions as the 5.15 has a bug on the installation. I have 2 pcs...with xp..In one pc an error always ocurred, and in the other the instalation was finish correctly. The 5.15 version seems also to have a problem to read the fw files and to detect the adfu device.Finally I tried a 2009 version. I downloaded; version 5.3

In this version, the firmwares were readed correctly. The versions of the firmware are 9.5.54 for both fw files. V 5.3 comes with an ADFUUPDATE.INF (see the directory where the program is installed to find this file) that correctly detects the adfu mode of the ak2025....The ADFUUPDate that comes with windows xp don t work for ak2025..
After that...finally I tried to flash.... Step FWSC. was ok....but in the detached step the program exit....Didn t Know why...So I failed to update the firmware...Maybe another bug...the firware that I used have a different
screen code...etc.
Now...I m sticky here....So if you can help I really appreciate...if this post help you I really appreciate some coins to download others firmware.and try again...thanks you very much.So my final advise is to use version 5.3. No bugs installations. You get an ADFUUPDATE driver for ak2025 and the firmware is readed correctly.
